Buffalo State University Campus Accommodations

Buffalo State University is offering on-campus accommodations for events that are hosted (or co-hosted) by the Alumni Association. Many of our alum have relocated, and when visiting campus, need a place to stay. Buffalo State is providing the option of on-campus accommodations for those that are interested in a lower cost and convenient option for housing.

For those interested in staying for Homecoming Weekend, from Friday, September 29, 2023 to Sunday, October 1, 2023, please read the information below.

Room Descriptions

Staying on campus at Buffalo State is much different than staying in a typical hotel. However, it can be the most cost effective and convenient option.

  • Building location: North Wing off of Rockwell Road (see campus map linked here)
    • Building requires three keys for access: one fob to enter the building, one key for the suite, and one key for the room
  • Double Occupancy (up to 2 people) per room
    • There are four rooms in a suite; a suite can have up to 8 people in it 
    • Each suite has a shared bathroom including 2 sinks, one shower, one toilet

Room Rates

  • $150 per room, for the weekend (Friday night and Saturday night), double occupancy

Other Info to Know

To reiterate, Buffalo State University's on-campus accommodations are not like a typical hotel. Please keep the bullet points listed below in mind when traveling for your stay.

  • Rooms are NOT air conditioned: one box fan will be provided for each room.
  • No mini fridge, microwave or other equipment provided in the room.
    • please make note of this when buying food; you will not have a place to store it if it needs refrigeration. 
  • Bed sheets and towels will be provided.
  • Alumni Association will provide a "gift basket" filled with goodies for your stay.
    • including water, snacks, and other small necessities.
  • Parking pass: required for your time on campus for student lots ONLY. You will need to visit Moot Hall for your parking pass. For more information on parking, click here.
  • Dining Hall: You have the option to eat in the dining hall on campus. Certain restrictions may apply, based on hours of operation. The dining hall and other restaurants are located in the Campbell Student Union. Visit the website to check out all of your options.
  • What to Bring and What Not to Bring: Please refer to this web page provided by Res Life of what is acceptable for on-campus stays.
