MORE ABOUT THE INDUCTEES:
The 1978-1980 Women’s Rugby Team paved the way for women’s rugby at Buffalo State and beyond, setting the foundation for the strong program we honor today. Their dedication, skill, and perseverance helped to define the early years of the sport, leaving a legacy that continues to inspire generations of athletes.
Mathew Frank, '09, is standout in Buffalo State Rugby. His contributions both on and off the field have helped elevate the sport and several programs to new heights.
These inductees were selected by a panel of Hall of Fame members: Denise Ballard, '96, Amanda Benoit, '08, Jenn Brooks, '96, Bob Figueiredo, '05, Paul Russo, '82, and Gerry Wojnk, '77, who reviewed nominations and selected honorees in line with the Buffalo State Rugby Hall of Fame criteria and guidelines.
Congratulations to our 2025 Hall of Fame inductees! Learn more about the weekend on the Alumni Rugby website.
