Reunion Weekend Honors Alumni from Classes of 1955, 1965 and 50-Plus Club Members

Buffalo State alumni from the Classes of 1955, 1965, and those from class years 50 or more years ago who belong to the Alumni Association’s 50-Plus Club took part in Reunion Weekend, which was held July 17-19, 2015.

Buffalo State Class of 1955Reunion celebrations kicked off on July 17 with a Welcome Home Reception, which was held in the Technology Building lobby at Buffalo State. Alumni and their guests met other Reunion Weekend attendees, and were also able to receive campus tours.

Members of the Class of 1955 joined their classmates on July 18 for a luncheon at Gigi’s Cucina Povera in Buffalo honoring the 60th anniversary of their graduation from “State.” The group enjoyed mingling with friends and sharing fond memories!

Later that day, members of the Class of 1965 celebrated their class’s 50th anniversary since graduating from Buffalo State at The Buffalo Club. They reminisced about their days at "State" while catching up with friends from college.

Buffalo State Class of 1965Finally, members of the 50-Plus Club gathered on July 19 for their annual luncheon, which was held at The Foundry Hotel & Banquets in Buffalo. The 50-Plus Club honors graduates of Buffalo State who have reached and passed the landmark of 50 years since graduation. The Class of 1965 was officially inducted into the 50-Plus Club, and a roll call of classes was held. The event's emcee was Brayton Wilson, '15, who works as an announcer and producer with Entercom radio in Buffalo.
