Chrisjarvell Adams

Chrisjarvell Adams, B.S. ’21, obtained an M.B.A. in human resource management in October after completing an inten-sive one-year program. At Buffalo State, he gained the Newman Fellowship Award and recognition for serving as chair of the Student Welfare Committee. He hopes to be able to lead his own nonprofit organization soon while also working as an advocate for diversity and inclusion.

Kim Zanti

Kim Zanti, M.S. ’21, notes that as a direct result of learning in Buffalo State’s creativity and change leadership graduate program, her personal relationships have improved, including family. The program helped her break through perceived and real barriers to accom-plish long-held goals. She finished the first draft of a novel and made a short documentary about creative placemaking, which continues to gain traction at film festivals, at conferences, and in classrooms. She accepted a position, which required a cross-country move, and her use of creative problem solving (CPS) and creative thinking skills (CTS) made for a smooth transition. She is now using CPS/CTS to train her team. Learning at Buffalo State has improved every part of her life.

Grateful for the fantastic arrangements and warm welcome by the International Graduate Program for Educators team—Brandon, Catherine, Kera, and Dr. Alicia. Currently, I am a high school physics teacher at Vision International School in Qatar, concurrently pursuing a doctorate in education. Exciting times ahead!”
