Students Thank Alumni, Faculty, and Others During Student Philanthropy Week

The Buffalo State College Student Philanthropy Council hosted Student Philanthropy Week from February 23 – 27, 2015. It was a great time to thank alumni, faculty, staff, and friends for giving to Buffalo State!
For Bengal alumni, whether you spoke in a class at Buffalo State, attended the Scholarship Gala, or encouraged a high school student to attend Buffalo State, your efforts as an alum are appreciated!

Activities and events during the week were designed to educate undergraduate students about the importance of philanthropy. Activities engaged students in thanking donors through writing thank you cards, as well as creating videos and posting on social media. Giant tags were displayed around campus in an effort to inform student about the many buildings, venues and equipment funded by donors.

In addition, student development ambassadors distributed thank you letters and "I GIVE" pins to all the faculty and staff who have contributed to the college.
