What is one of your fondest memories of Buffalo State?

Meeting my future husband who was a big man on campus, 1 man to 10 women. I got very lucky and continued for 59 years together.


Were you involved with any on-campus organizations as a student?

Alpha Sigma Alpha, Cheerleader, Art Kraft Club.


How did graduating from Buffalo State shape your future?

All my success as a teacher, professional artist and philanthropist where molded by my time at Buffalo State College.


What accomplishments have you achieved since graduating from Buffalo State?

Distinguished Alumni, Arts Council Award for Outstanding Individual Artist, Burchfield Penney Art Center Espirit de Corps, Art Services Initiative Unsung Hero 


Numerous one artist exhibitions, juried into International art exhibitions.

Paintings in numerous Public, Corporate and private collections in this country and abroad


Do you have any advice for current students trying to achieve success after graduation?

Volunteer in community in every way following your passion. All roads lead to success and satisfaction
