Alumnus Accepts Thiess International RiverPrize

Congratulations to Joel Bernosky, B.S. ’07, M.S. ’09! He accepted the Thiess International RiverPrize on behalf of Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper at the International RiverFoundation's (IRF) annual RiverSymposium in New Delhi, India.

The RiverPrize is awarded annually by the International RiverFoundation to organizations demonstrating outstanding results in sustainable river basin management, restoration and protection worldwide. Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper was recognized for their decades-long efforts to restore and protect the Niagara River watershed, including the massive Buffalo River restoration.
