Graduate Student Association (GSA) Fair Recognizes Innovative Student Research

Did you know Buffalo State houses the only stand-alone graduate student organization among the State University of New York comprehensive colleges?

Since 2013, our Graduate Student Association (GSA) has awarded over $130,000 to students in support of research and scholarship and participation in professional conferences. Our GSA held its fifth-annual Graduate Student Research Fair last spring. Over 50 graduate students presented their research, and 170 people attended the event. This was the first year the Graduate School combined three of its annual events—the Four-Minute Thesis Contest, the Graduate School Awards Ceremony, and the Graduate Student Poster Presentation—into a comprehensive fair.

Alumni are encouraged to attend the sixth annual research fair on Friday, May 10, 2019, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall. For questions about graduate student activities, email the Buffalo State GSA.
