Three Alumni Receive Honors at Commencement

Three distinguished Buffalo State alumni were honored at Buffalo State’s 142nd Commencement on Saturday, May 17, 2014 in the Sports Arena.

Kimberly Evering, '94, was the recipient of the Young Alumnus Achievement Award in 2014Frank B. Mesiah, '61, '69, and Valerie A. Logan, '89, each received the Distinguished Alumnus Award, while Kimberly Evering, '94, was the recipient of the Young Alumnus Achievement Award. Mesiah is the president of the Buffalo Branch NAACP, Logan is an information sciences thought leader and former global vice president of strategy, Information Management and Analytics Services Division, Hewlett-Packard Company, and Evering is the web communications manager at Northern Virginia Community College.
