Reunion Weekend Celebrates Alumni from Classes of 1954, 1964 and 50-Plus Club Members
Buffalo State alumni from the Classes of 1954, 1964, and those from class years 50 or more years ago who belong to the Alumni Association’s 50-Plus Club took part in Reunion Weekend 2014, which was held July 18 – 20, 2014.
Reunion celebrations kicked off on July 18 with a Welcome Home Reception, which was held in the newly-renovated Residential Dining Center inside of Campbell Student Union at Buffalo State. Alumni and their guests met other Reunion Weekend attendees, and were also able to receive campus tours.
Members of the Class of 1954 joined their classmates on July 19 for a luncheon at Grille 620 in Buffalo honoring the 60th anniversary of their graduation from "State." The group enjoyed sharing fond memories and mingling with friends!
Later that day, members of the Class of 1964 celebrated their class's 50th anniversary since graduating from Buffalo State in the Social Hall inside the Campbell Student Union at Buffalo State. They reminisced about their days at "State" while looking at their yearbook photos, and admired the changes to the campus since their graduation.
Finally, members of the 50-Plus Club gathered on July 20 for their annual luncheon, which was held at Acqua Restaurant in Buffalo. The 50-Plus Club honors graduates of Buffalo State who have reached and passed the landmark of 50 years since graduation. The Class of 1964 was officially inducted into the 50-Plus Club, and a roll call of classes was held.
