1980's Reunion — Friday, May 1 to Sunday, May 3, 2020

Buffalo State graduates from class years 1980-89 are invited for a reunion weekend May 1–3, 2020. Reunion weekend events and registration links are included below. Alumni and their guests can also take advantage of a unique accommodation opportunity and stay in Perry Hall residential dorms. The deadline to register for all reunion weekend events and on-campus accommodations is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2020. See map for more information about on-campus event locations. Class of 1980s Reunion Weekend Events

Welcome Home Reception | Friday, May 1 | 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Location: Technology Building Lobby

Kick off the reunion weekend activities with a welcome home reception on campus! The cost to attend is $20/person and includes two drink tickets as well as Buffalo-themed food buffet including beef on weck, chicken wings, housemade chips and Bison dip, sponge candy cupcakes, and more.

Campus Tour | Saturday, May 2 | 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
The Alumni Engagement staff will offer a campus tour for class reunion attendees on Saturday, May 2 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The campus tour will begin and end in the Jacqueline Vito LoRusso Alumni and Visitor Center on the corner of Rockwell Road and Grant Street. Free campus parking is available in lot R-15, which is accessible from Rees Street.

All '80s Reunion | Saturday, May 2 | 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Relive memories at Buffalo State from the 1980's and reconnect with fellow ’80's grads with our reunion reception. The cost to attend is $40/person and includes a three-hour open bar with beer and wine (liquor available for purchase), hors d’oeuvres, carving station, pasta, and dessert. Attendees are encouraged to dress in '80s-inspired attire.

On-Campus Accommodations

Alumni and guests can stay in Perry Hall dormitory on campus from Friday, May 1 to Sunday, May 3. Each room is double occupancy with two standard twin beds and includes bedsheets, blanket, pillow, and a towel. Each guest who registers to stay in Perry Hall May will receive two meal vouchers for breakfast on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3 in the Bengal Kitchen (located in the Campbell Student Union). One Occupant May 1-3: $120 total
Two Occupants May 1-3: $140 ($70 each person)

Check-in information for Perry Hall
Guests staying in Perry Hall will be able to check-in from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1 and will have to check out between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3.

Alumni who stay on campus can park for free and will receive a complimentary WiFi in Perry Hall. Alumni will have access to the common space kitchens in Perry Hall, which include a fridge and microwaves. Perry Hall will be used for the exclusive use of this group, there will be no students living in this hall. Please note the dorms do not have air conditioning, so guests are encouraged to bring fans.
