New this year, the Bengal 5K Scholarship Run will take place on Sunday,
during Buffalo State College's Homecoming and Family Weekend. The
race will start at 10 a.m. Register now!
This year's race will feature a new USATF-certified course on Buffalo State College's campus, bib timing, awards, a great post-race party with food from Lloyd Taco Truck and music, and much more! A course map is available here.

This event supports two scholarships for Buffalo State College students: the Legacy Scholarship Fund
and Military Service Scholarship
. The Legacy Scholarship Fund is awarded to a student who is the child or grandchild of a Buffalo State graduate, and the Military Scholarship Fund is presented to a student who is currently serving or has prior service in any branch of the United States military.

Online registration has been extended until Saturday, September 20 at 5 p.m., and will cost $25 per runner. Registration is also being offered for $25 per runner (cash only) at packet pick-up on Thursday, September 18 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports (2290 Delaware Avenue in Buffalo), and on race day this Sunday from 8:30 – 9:45 a.m.
5K Run Details:
Date: Sunday, September 21, 2014
Time: Race to start at 10 a.m. in front of the Buffalo State College Sports Arena, near Grant Street. View a campus map.
Course: Our new USA Track and Field-Certified course starts and
finishes in front of the Buffalo State Sports Arena, looping around the
campus and back. A course map is available here.
Entry Fee: $20 pre-registered, $25 on race day.
Registration: Online pre-registration ends at 5 p.m. on
Wednesday, September 17. Registration will be offered at packet pick-up
at Fleet Feet Sports on Thursday, September 18 for $25, and on race day
from 8:30 – 9:45 a.m. Registration will be cash only!
First 500 runners will receive t-shirts!
All runners get access to the post-race party, including food, and
non-alcoholic beverages. Post-race party food and drinks are available
for guests of runners for $3 per person.
Presented for overall male and female winner, top 3 finishers in each
male and female age group, and first place male and female alumni
winner. Bib timing will be provided by Score-This!!!
Packet Pick-Up: Packet pick-up will be held on
Thursday, September 18 at Fleet Feet Sports from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., and
day-of-race from 8:30 - 9:45 a.m.
