« BackRead the President's Letter
The ending of the academic year provides an opportunity to reflect on
the extent, depth and quality of work our Buffalo State faculty and
staff have devoted to ensuring that our students have had an
exceptional, rewarding and successful experience. We’ve embraced our
daily commitment to becoming a more student-centered campus and
reinforced a culture of caring, an important focus set forth last fall
in my State of the College Address.
I’m proud of all that each of you has done to make this a welcoming
and engaging campus and a vibrant, dynamic learning environment.
For our students, this has also been an exciting year filled with
aspirations achieved, educational excellence, and significant
accomplishments in and outside the classroom. Now, with Commencement
only a few days away, our Class of 2013 graduates are finishing their
last moments as students here. The joy and exuberance of their
graduation is something they will remember for the rest of their lives.
They certainly have a lot to celebrate. And we join in celebrating the
achievements of these incredibly talented, ambitious and dedicated new
graduates who are an inspiration to us all.
Best wishes for a productive, gratifying close to the spring
semester, and have an enjoyable time at Commencement festivities this
coming weekend.
