The 2013 Bengal 5K Scholarship Run was held on April 6, 2013. Over 400 runners and 100 volunteers came out to make the 16th annual race a great success! Approximately 25% of race participants were Buffalo State alumni. Net proceeds support the Legacy Scholarship and Military Service Scholarship.
The Legacy Scholarship Fund secures educational funding for lineal descendants of Buffalo State alumni, and the Military Service Scholarship is awarded to students who are currently serving or have prior service in any branch of the United States military. The Alumni Association is committed to supporting these scholarships, which were created to reward deserving students who demonstrate the core values of Buffalo State.
